This workshop is part of a series of #Paprika21 Festival digital offerings celebrating new work by young and emerging artists, and exploring workshops and topics centring around this year’s festival theme of (re)imagining process.

Aisha Lesley Bentham
Aisha Lesley Bentham MA, BFA, internationally trained artist-scholar, wellness coach and vegan chef from Toronto, studied Devising Theater and Performance at Arthaus.berlin, founded RootReach; a multi-disciplinary residency for artists, and has a vegan food and lifestyle brand called choosing.hue. Her research and passion looks at the intersections of cooking and performance and looks to integrate notions of care, eco-somatics and cookery. She is currently a Black Arts fellow at Wildseed center for the Arts and Activism, writing her first book, developing wellness programs and the head of Food and Drink at the Canadian Green Alliance, a non-for-profit bridging the gap between theater and sustainability.
