What Can Indian Look Like?

Natasha is from the Khasi (Indigenous Ethnic Minority) community in Meghalaya, North East India. The Khasi are classified as scheduled tribes by the government of India. Schedule tribes are a designation given to historically disadvantaged and marginalized groups. She grew up on the other side of the country in the metropolitan city of Mumbai. This show explores her evolving relationship with her tribal identity, while exposing macrocosmic issues, such as colonialism and discrimination that are still woven in the fabric of progressive communities.
